Fix to PWGrowToDiag function
An error was fixed in the Affinity PWGrowToDiag function. This function detrends the latest diagonal by a selected trend factor, and it was using the incorrect trend factor. For example, if the trend at 12 months is 8.0% and the trend at 24 months is 4.0%, the triangle points at 12 months will be detrended based on the 24 month trend factor of 4.0% instead of the correct 12 month trend of 8.0%.
The only standard Affinity template that uses this function can be found within the Affinity user interface in the Templates tab under the Berquist-Sherman Methods folder. The template is called "Change in Case Reserve Adequacy," and its default Excel sheet name is "BSMDATA1."
However, also be aware that any custom templates you may have built based on the standard Changes in Case Reserve Adequacy template will also be affected by this issue.
This error was introduced with the release of Affinity Professional Version 3.4. The patch containing this fix is only necessary for those users who have upgraded to that version (typically, users who needed the upgrade to work with Excel 2007 or who have USB hardware keys).
Not that this is a patch to be applied to an existing installed system; this is not a full system release.

Version 3.4
Microsoft Excel 2007
Microsoft made changes in their release of Excel 2007 that affected how certain functions work in Professional Affinity. As a result, there were potential issues with the calculation of volume-weighted averages, the PWTail function, and certain curve fit charts. These have all been resolved with this latest release. Version 3.4 should be installed on any computer running Microsoft Office or Excel 2007.
New Installation
These changes also required that we provide a new installation routine for the system. Beginning with version 3.4, you will need to enter a serial number at the time of installation.
