Installation instructions
Affinity version 3.4c PWGrowToDiag patch
  1. Make sure Affinity and Excel are not running.
  2. Click on the tridat32.exe file to begin the download process.  Select to SAVE the file onto your computer.
  3. Specify the location for saving the file.  This should be your current Affinity system folder; for most Professional Affinity installations, this will be the c:\AffPro32 directory.
  4. This is a self-extracting ZIP file.  Find this file with Windows Explorer and double-click it to run the extraction process.  Select to UNZIP the file.  The new tridat32.dll will be extracted/installed, overwriting your existing copy.

After you have successfully installed this updated tridat32.dll, you will be able to run Affinity.
At this point you can delete the downloaded tridat32.exe if you wish. It is no longer needed.

How can you tell if you are running the most up to date version of Affinity?

In the Professional Affinity interface, select Help|About and you will see:

Affinity Version 3.4
Release Date December 20, 2007

When the Affinity add-in (PCRES.XLA) is running in Excel, select Help|About Milliman, Inc. and you will see:

Version 3.4a
December 20, 2007

You can confirm that you are running the correct version of tridat32.dll by using Windows explorer to browse to the root directory of Affinity (most-likely C:\Program Files\Milliman\Professional Affinity).  The file will have a Modified Date of 2/19/2009.  Also, if you right-click on the tridat32.dll and select Properties and then click on the Version tab you will see:

File Version:  3.4.0.2
