What's new with Professional Affinity

We occasionally release updates, fixes, and enhancements to our Professional Affinity tools.  These updates are available at no additional charge to all Clients covered under our software maintenance plan.  If you are a licensed user of Professional Affinity and are currently up to date on the software maintenance plan, you can follow the links below to get your copies of these updates.

 

Release 3.4.2, April 2011

Support for Excel 2010

Microsoft made changes in their release of Excel 2010 that affected how Professional Affinity interacts with Excel.  As a result, there was an issue with the launching of our Excel add-in.  This issue has been resolved with our latest release.  Version 3.4.2 should be installed on any computer running Microsoft Office 2010 or Excel 2010. This release also encompasses all previous releases, including release 3.4, which provided improved interaction with Excel 2007.

Fix for a calculation function

We fixed an issue affecting calculations involving the Affinity PWGrowToDiag function.  This function is used in the Berquist-Sherman template titled "Change in Case Reserve Adequacy."  It also affects other user-defined templates that may have been built based on this standard template, or using the PWGrowToDiag function.
