Bethany L. Cass

Bethany has more than 15 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. Prior to joining Milliman, she worked five years for a major insurance carrier in Hartford, Connecticut, and six years as a consulting actuary with PwC.

Her experience includes loss reserving analyses for all major lines of business, including workers' compensation, general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and mortgage guaranty insurance. Her experience also includes evaluation of self-insurance funding levels for hospital programs, large commercial and municipality programs, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

Currently, Bethany is dedicated to the development and support of Milliman's property and casualty loss analysis solutions, including Arius^®, Triangles on Demand, Arius Enterprise, ReservePro^®, ReservePro Enterprise, Professional Affinity^®, and Trianglemaker. These are the leading solutions of their type for actuarial, risk management, and insurance finance professionals, with installations at more than 400 locations throughout the world. Her specialized knowledge has been relied upon for the design of all new system functionality.

She also provides services to clients with regard to product customization and training, as well as implementation and consultation on best practices for work processes within actuarial reserving departments.
